our first scholarship of radness

Edwin Durning just returned from a few days of radness and we are so happy to have been a part of it...thank you everyone who contributed to make this happen and thank you Edwin for an excellent story of your adventure...old or young, big or small the spirit of adventure is at the heart of all is radness...we consider ourselves fortunate to know you...the more of us that take risks and try things that do not have a foregone conclusion the more of us know that it is ok to go big and fall short..for the "short" is only an illusion after all...just by trying we are better people and when we are better people the world is better...

guerrilla public art is rad

riding to work today we spotted this along the trail...this is what we mean by rad...creative, innovative, generous, brave and just lovely to see along one's travels...evidence of a light heart that wants, needs even, to share that lightness...

we are so grateful when we come across things like this...in art, especially the kind that is given freely to the world, we are reminded that we are not alone, that we have been invited to participate, to share and to be touched and moved to our own re-visioning of the world in a way that can only be shared through abstract and worldless beauty...

the comfort of radness

lovely to know someone found our breadcrumbs comforting

"I found your radness in a very peculiar / inspiring place. It was interesting because I often go to Mosquito Lake Rd as a quick outlet to get away from it all (society, people, buildings, human construction, etc.) seeing your sticker, and one that was not h8full helped me a lot. I think it will help those around me as well. Anyways, I was not intending to get all the way out there initially because I was attempting to get some pictures of a waterfall a mile or so earlier down the road. However, there happened to be people already parked at this spot and my anxieties got to the best of me. I saw the sticker as I was leaving and thought I had to take a picture of it to share with my friends... Your sticker changed my perception of how I viewed everything in life at that very moment. I will never forget it. Thanks for the motivation and please keep doing what you do! "

fairy radness

heres the thing...the most attractive people to us are those that that are striving for originality, not for fame or attention but because they are compelled to discover who they are and by extention know those around them in a deeper way...seeking originality leads them to understand their surrounding and how they fit into it...like many of us they are afraid...of what they might find, of others judgement...of failing...but they are also brave and funny and they move forward leaving little traces of kindness and humor in their wake...
